I have used them for a few years and always been completely satisfied. Just had a new boiler fitted with radiators flushed out and everything tidied up. Very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend them.

Woke up to no water today. Contacted CK Plumbers and within an hour, Redford arrived on our doorstep. In under an hour and he had managed to clear our totally frozen water system with no damage. (We have quite a few extra bits on our plumbing system, and nothing fazed him.) what a relief to have cold running water again and to be able to flush the loo! Woke up to no hot water. Rang around to find someone to investigate. Chad was the one who got in the case quickly. The old boiler was over 30 years old and was in a cupboard in a bedroom. The team at CK Plumbers have done a brilliant job installing a new energy-efficient combi boiler in our house. The new one is now in the attic, which involved a considerable amount of work to get a gas feed, reorganising the pipework, adding thermostats to all our radiators and flushing the system. We also have gained a lot of storage space where the old hot water cylinder use to be. Marc and Claire were unbelievably tidy, friendly and respectful. They protected everything thoroughly during the work, which was done in a clean and tidy way, clearing up after them and leaving no mess or damage anywhere in our home. Chad was great and visited several times during the four days that the work required. CK Plumbers deserve top marks all around and we have no hesitation in recommending them.

We were advised to get our radiators power flushed. I contacted CK Plumbers and spoke to Chad. He always responded back very quickly when I contacted him, answered my queries and was very accommodating with any request made. I would highly recommend them and will use them again. A very personal service, which was much appreciated.

Found water leak arriving home after New Year to find water leak coming through ceiling, called CK Wednesday morning. Chad turned up that morning, established where the leak was and made it safe and water tight. Ensured that leak was definitely repaired, tidied up and left us clean and tidy. A great job, thank you!

It was the SATURDAY before Christmas… my eldest boy managed to smack a weight against the radiator inlet pipe and water started to pour from the connecting valve all over our home gym floor. In a panic, I called Chad who calmly switched my call to WhatsApp video so he could see what was happening. In true hero fashion, he took one look at our helpless situation and said he was on his way! Unbelievably Chad arrived within 5 minutes and immediately set to draining the heating system and fixing the leak. After carefully checking the boiler and rebalancing our radiators we were all back to normal within 2 hours. We will never use anyone other than CK Plumbers for all our plumbing and heating needs. Chad provides a professional, reliable and cost-effective local service and over the years he has never let us down.

I called on CK Plumbers to help with an emergency situation. The response was very prompt and they managed to squeeze us in at very short notice late on a Friday afternoon. Friendly and exemplary service. The issue was fixed and completed to a high standard meaning we wouldn’t have to go without hot water & heating for the night. CK Plumbers completed some excellent work on our new bathroom/wc back in May — our property is being sold and we needed the bath, sink and toilet to be replaced in order to improve it for potential buyers. Big shout out to Chad and his apprentice Jake at CK Plumbers! If you need a plumber, I’d highly recommend him. We had a rather tricky leak that turned into a huge pain to get to and fix, but Chad got the job done quickly and efficiently. They definitely pulled out all the stops. Sorting out ceiling repair people, a floorboard repair person and even helping find a decorator to remove the last signs the leak had left. CK Plumbers – serious rock stars!

When I called you, you happened to have some time available and came to our place that same afternoon. You gave an accurate assessment of the problem and explained clearly what kind of replacement tap we would need to buy. When we weren’t able to source this in time, you got one for us at a very reasonable price and fit it straight away. The quality of the work you did was really good, but best of all was your willingness and ability to think about the problem (made worse by a dodgy kitchen bench) and how best to solve it without delay. A lot of other plumbers would have left it up to us to deal with the issue but you went the extra mile, as they say, and came up with a creative solution. CK Plumbers fitted a new kitchen for us in our Victorian holiday home on the Isle of Wight … they didn’t just fit the kitchen, they fitted a new floor, tiled, boxed-in the boiler pipes, and arranged for all the old appliances and fittings to be removed – leaving us with a 21st century kitchen for our 19th century cottage. What was most impressive is that whilst they took a standard B&Q flat pack kitchen, they had to fit it in a kitchen that is anything but square! All our walls are decidedly not 90degrees, there are almost no straight lines or edges so it was a case of adjusting cupboards and units to fit – which they did admirably. The pictures tell their own story.

It is not just a nice kitchen it was fitted by nice people, entirely trustworthy and people who did what they said they would, and really went the extra mile.

If you have a kitchen to fit call Chad! If we have any plumbing needs either at home in Hertfordshire or on the Island we will certainly call on CK Plumbers.

I had a burst pipe on one of the coldest nights in the year, I called CK Plumbers at 1am and he was with us 30 minutes later and fixed it. Came again the next morning to undertake full repairs. Great attitude, totally professional, can’t recommend him highly enough.

My mother-in – law could no longer use the bath, so we called Chad who removed all the hassle and stress by simply listening to us, then suggesting the best way around the problem, we then chose the shower tray, surround and tiles and Chad took over from there. He turned up on the day he said he would and finished on the day he said he would. Chad took in to consideration the wishes of my mother-in – law who lived in the house while the work was carried out. At all times she was not inconvenienced and we were extremely happy with the respect shown to her (she has been known to be difficult at times ). The workmanship was excellent and always clean, with follow up calls to make sure all was well, all part of his service. We would recommend his skills to others.

CK Plumbers installed a new main bathroom in our North London Victorian terrace house in January 2013. They did the work whilst we were away on holiday and we returned to find it all completed exactly as we wanted and the house clean with no sign that so much work had been carried out. The smart shallow shower tray was fitted perfectly and all the shower pipe work for the rainfall shower is concealed behind neatly tiled walls – we’re now three-and-a-half years on and have had not had a single problem. All of the tiling and paintwork was to a similar high standard. We would not hesitate to recommend CK Plumbers to anyone else

Chad proved to be a very effective plumber, turning up when agreed, working quickly, cheerfully and efficiently, tidying up afterwards and taking great care to leave a neat looking job. Moreover, he was prepared to tackle and solve an intractable heating problem for us. He was very straightforward about his charging rates and total costs involved, which he then kept to. For some years part of our central heating has been reducing in effectiveness. The only previous suggestions were to have a power flush or replace the perfectly satisfactory boiler (albeit 12 years old). Both are expensive options with no guarantee of success.

Chad was prepared to listen carefully and discuss the problems at length, before suggesting a sequential approach to tackle the problem in a way that minimised costs. He did despite some tricky work being needed, and the system is now working well, without a power flush or a new boiler!
